◎简　　介
　　故事发生在遥远的未来时代，沙丹四世（何塞·费勒 José Ferrer 饰）是宇宙之王，他靠着自己的强权和武力控制着整个帝国。尽管手握大权，但沙丹四世还是没有安全感，他认为自己的表弟亚崔迪公爵（尤尔根·普洛斯诺 Jürgen Prochnow 饰）企图谋权篡位，因此将他发配到了遥远的凯勒丹行星上。
　　沙丹四世对于亚崔迪公爵的迫害并没有停止，最后，公爵战败㊟㊟，留下妻子和儿子保罗（凯尔·麦克拉克伦 Kyle MacLachlan 饰）流离失所，两人逃到了广袤的沙漠之中，向当地的土著求助。土著们将保罗当做了他们的救世主顶礼膜拜，保罗最终成为了土著领袖，并和名为佳妮（肖恩·杨 Sean Young 饰）的当地女子结为夫妻，然而，复仇的火焰从未在他的心中熄灭过。
